Fix 1: Test with Quality Paper

1. Get a small ream of name-brand paper (HP, Hammermill, etc.)
2. Load it in the printer instead of the cheap paper
3. Run several print jobs
4. If problems disappear, the cheap paper is the issue

Fix 2: Clean Out Paper Dust

Low-quality paper sheds more fibers that build up inside:

1. Turn off and unplug the printer
2. Open all access doors
3. Use compressed air to blow out dust (in short bursts, from inside out)
4. Wipe accessible surfaces with a lint-free cloth
5. Pay special attention to the paper path and around the rollers

Fix 3: Clean the Rollers

1. Paper dust coats rollers and reduces their grip
2. Clean all visible rollers with a damp lint-free cloth
3. Rotate rollers as you clean to get the full surface
4. Let dry completely before using

Fix 4: Choose Better Paper Going Forward

What to look for:

1. Brightness of 92 or higher
2. Weight of 20 lb is standard; 24 lb feeds better
3. Acid-free paper lasts longer and produces less dust
