No. A developer scopes the work, directs the agent, reviews everything it produces, and is accountable for what ships. Think of Claude Code as a very fast junior developer who never gets tired — useful, but it still needs an experienced person steering and checking the work. That review step is exactly what separates a solid build from a pile of plausible-looking code.
Usually, yes — and that is the point. When the agent absorbs the boilerplate and test-writing, more of your budget goes to the parts that need real thought, and the first working version typically arrives sooner. We pass that efficiency on rather than billing the same hours for less work. We scope a fixed, smallest-valuable version first so you can see it before committing further.
That is a deliberate goal. Because we have the agent document the system and write tests as it goes, you end up with code that is readable, explained, and covered — not a fragile black box. Yes. We treat your code and data as confidential, and for sensitive projects we can work in a private environment and scope what is shared with any tool. Using an AI coding agent does not mean your proprietary code becomes someone else's training data — we configure the work to protect it, and we document the data-handling approach before we start.
No. Geeks in Sneaks is an independent shop in the Clearwater area.
